Groups are at the heart of Inverurie u3a. They encourage people with similar interests to come together to enjoy and share their interests and experiences, or to learn something new.

You must be a u3a member to take part in our group activities. This is essential to ensure that your participation in our activities is covered by the u3a’s insurance. You can Join us here.

To get started with a new group, you can browse the list of groups below.

Our Groups operate 3 status values:
1. Suggested (not running yet)
2. Active (accepting new members)
3. Waiting List (group is full)

In all cases, you can contact the Group Leader via the "Group Email" form within the relevant Group page to find out more information.

If you have problems contacting the Group Leader by email you can phone 07724 044517 and leave a message on our Voicemail system. Someone will then call you back within 2 to 3 days.

If you cannot find a suitable group, or if you have knowledge or experience of a specific topic, or perhaps just interest in an area of the arts, science, literature, sport, or life, you can suggest starting a new group. Just speak to any member of the Committee or fill in a Contact Form, details on the Contact us Us page. The Groups Coordinator will then be happy to offer advice and, if your suggestion is feasible, help to set up a new group.
