Meetings are held monthly in St Andrews Hall on the second Tuesday of each month except for July and December. There will be an invited guest speaker. All members are cordially invited. Members of the general public may attend but there will be a small entrance fee of £3 each month. Hopefully you will enjoy the speeches and meeting the members and choose to join the u3a.
Coffee is offered for a small charge of £1.
More importantly, members also meet in special interest groups, with topics decided by, and led by, the members themselves. The number and range of subjects is limited only by their imagination and the choices they make.
Founded by the Third Age Trust, it has branches all over the country, with links through a Scottish network to share information and ideas. Each branch is managed locally by its own members to organise groups and events.
